Quotes

There is no road to happiness. Happiness is the road.
~Unknown~

Every road that’s travelled teaches something new. Every road that narrows pushes us to choose. ~Amy Grant~

I know. I know you can fight. But it’s our wits that make us men. ~Malcolm Wallace to young Willian in Braveheart.~

William Wallace: I *am* William Wallace! And I see a whole army of my countrymen, here in defiance of tyranny. You’ve come to fight as free men… and free men you are. What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight?
Veteran: Fight? Against that? No! We will run. And we will live.
William Wallace: Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you’ll live… at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin’ to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they’ll never take… OUR FREEDOM!
~Scene from BRAVEHEART~

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways- Chardonnay in one hand – chocolate in the other – body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ‘WOO HOO, What a Ride!!!
~Someone way more in-tune than I!~

favorite: William Wallace quote….he stands as one of the bulwarks that tweaked my own “hero” inside that i did not know was there…..he, in essence, got the attention, woke up so to speak, a sleeping giant….and i realized, i am, a princess warrior, a daughter of the Most High God….and as my Father, the Warrior of all warriors, is fierce in battle, thus am i, for i know Who it is i belong to.
